A little bit slow with the updates due to the heat and not a good T Mobile signal-more will follow. Sorry about the heading but I couldn't resist it as you don't see many cars on narrowboats. Especially when they have been built in-it looks like a Renault Espace. I couldn't see a tiller so perhaps he drives/steers it from inside the car!- just great imagination- you just never know what is round the next bend..

Another example- the sunshade was huge-it was more like a covered dock |
Our first stop last Tuesday was Rickmansworth which was very busy but we just managed to get in before bridge 174 which was only a 5 minute walk from Tesco-and had shade from late afternoon.

I noticed that there was a heron on the bridge-there are a lot about |
|
Rejoining the main line at Cowley Peachey Junction we are turning left for Braunston-we came in under the bridge from Brentford |

An interesting chair as you approach Uxbridge |
|
Some nice houses as you approach Cooper Mill Lock |

Snoopy on a narrowboat |

A striking livery of an Ovaltine narrowboat which used to work up this part of the canal to the factory at Kings Langley- I was in the Ovaltinies club!!! |

Some lovely wood work on a dutch barge |

This Elephant had his eye on you as you went past |
