We continue to make our way slowly south in the cold wind and cloud but today this afternoon in fact the sun came out and it was down to 2 layers-glorious- then we had several heavy showers in the evening. Great that's the fun of narrow boating in the spring. We moored in a rural spot last night (Saturday) and decided we would have Sunday lunch in the Brasenose Arms in Cropedy-it was very good.

I heard an interesting jet sound this afternoon and managed to get a couple of zoomed shots of a Gloster Meteor NF(night fighter)11. It is part of the Classic Aircraft Trust fleet based at Coventry airport. First jet aircraft to enter service in the RAF. The first one flew over 70 years ago |
