Beale Park and Pangbourne Meadows and visit to launderette

Monday 18 May 2015

We have been ambling down the Thames over the last few days through an area that seems to be a waste land for T Mobile broadband signal- or that's my excuse. We had a very peaceful night on the free 24 hour moorings at Beale Park and then moved down to the Pangbourne Meadows which are owned by the National Trust but managed by the local council- free for 24 hours. The weather was lovely, the town had a launderette which is very well run (and a bonus as the one in Wallingford has closed) and Maffi "the blogger" came round in the evening bearing wine for a most enjoyable evening sorting out the world.
