We are continuing our slow journey south as we need to meet up with Mat the electrician from Aynho Wharf at Thrupp on Monday morning to repair our shower pump-Anne's getting fed up with cold water around her feet and not being able to pump it out-so pickeeeeey!!
We are now moored just below Dashwood lock and bridge 209

| I do like Lower Heyford and its great for a quick trip into Oxford by train although only a train every 2 hours on a Saturday at this time of year-the timetable changes on 16 May. Oxfordshire Narrowboats base on the right- a good place for emergency supplies and papers. |
